Alogic Clarity Max Touch is the first 32-inch widescreen touchscreen for Mac. It's a brilliant 4K touchscreen display with a built-in USB hub and a fantastic adjustable height, tilt and swivel position. We prefer the clarity and color depth of the 27-inch Clarity Pro over the 32-inch Max, but it's a trade-off you pay for the larger screen. There is also a non-accessible model. One of our favorite third-party displays is Alogic's Clarity, an excellent 27-inch 4K monitor that can rotate from landscape to portrait orientations and has a great multi-angle stand and rear-mounted USB hub. Last year, Alogic announced the Pro and Touchscreen Clarity models with a retractable webcam, and in 2024 there are three new versions, including the first 32-inch touchscreen display for Mac.
Where Fax Lists the 27-inch Clarity Pro added a built-in webcam to the display and the Clarity Pro Touch added a touchscreen display, the new 32-inch Clarity Max display is wider. We especially appreciate the Touch model, where you can touch, swipe, slide and touch on a screen space three times larger than the iPad. project The main difference between the 27-inch and 32-inch Clarity displays is the new, wider screen. Although not as tall as the 27-inch, the 32-inch display is much wider. Read our Alogic Clarity Pro Touch 27in Monitor Review and Clarity 27in Monitor Review . Physically, the Clarity Max monitor (without stand) measures 16.9 inches (43 cm) long by 15.8 inches (40 cm) vertically, 28.6 inches (72.6 cm) wide and 27.6 inches (70 cm) actual screen width .
This is compared to the 27-inch models, which are 14.8 inches (37.5 cm) tall and 13.2 inches (33.5 cm) vertical screen, 24.6 inches (62.4 cm) wide, and the actual width of the screen is 23.5 inches (59.7 cm). The screen resolution, however, remains at 3,840 x 2,160 pixels at 60 Hz (landscape) and 2,160 x 3,840 (portrait). The monitor case is made of plastic rather than the metal you get with an Apple-branded display, although at a slightly cheaper price, it doesn't feel cheap. The aluminum stand matches Apple's aesthetic, even compared to Apple's own expensive monitor stands. Unlike Apple's static display, you can easily adjust the height of Clarity monitors with a stand height adjustable up to 150mm.
